我在CIP呆了五个星期。回顾我在菲律宾的生活，最令人惊奇的是，英语完全渗透到他们的生活中，比我想像中的要多。与本地语言相比，他们的英语同样出色，普通人也是英语老师。所以他们在日常休闲的谈话中可以使用英语。另外，也有英语广告。因此菲律宾可以在日常生活中自然而然地轻松学英语。另一方面，在我看来，大多数日本人都是被宠坏的，我们可以只使用一种语言交流。当然也包括我，但现在我知道为什么在日本学习英语困难了。所以，我很羡慕孩子们今天有学习英语的机会。我要说更多的是，菲律宾人的有着美好和灿烂的微笑。我认为这是他们的性格或文化的一部分。一个典型的日本人，与陌生人尤其是外国人说话时常常觉得很羞涩。所以，它很容易让我感到害怕。我认为如果我擅长说英语，我可以跟来自不同国家的人交谈，我会更积极地接近他们。我知道每个国家都有历史，但我们应该灵活处理。我认为我们必须遵循一些菲律宾的文化，这是因为它是高效的发展中国家。重要的是他们自信和友好的个性非常有吸引力。我认为他们宽容的态度对他们来说是一个优势以便提高其他语言的学习，他们有无限的可能性。

English Translation:

I’ve been staying here in C.I.P for about five weeks. When I look back over my life in Philippines, the most surprising thing was that English is well penetrated into their life than I had imagined. With the original language they have a brilliant command of English, not only the English teachers but also people in general. So they can use English in their everyday casual conversation. In addition, also there are English advertisements and print ads.   Therefor Filipino can easily learn English in their daily life naturally. On the other hand, it seems to me that most of Japanese are spoiled in the present situation, that we can lice by speaking using only one language. Of course including me, but now I think that is the reason why Japanese are having difficulties in studying English. So I felt envy to the children today who are given the opportunity to learn English. And I have one more to mention, it seems that Filipinos have nice and bright smile. I think it is also part of their culture or their character. A typical Japanese often feels shame when talking to strangers specially foreigner because we can’t speak English very well. So it is easy for us to feel intimidated. I think if I am good at speaking English I will enjoy more talking to people from different countries and I will approach them more positively. I understand that each country has history but we should deal flexibly with the stream of time due to globalization. I think it is a must that we follow some of the Filipino culture, this is because it is effective and practical for developing country. And above all their bright and friendly personality is remarkably an attraction.

I consider that their receptive attitude is an advantage for them to improve and nail learning other languages for that they have infinite possibilities.
